About this project
Feather House is an exercise in minimalist design carried by exceptional detail. Its impact comes from specialty strategies and finishes: flush baseboards, stained horizontal-grain walnut interior doors, and plaster walls at the fireplace and powder room.
Custom lighting anchors the home — a geometric LED array mudded into the kitchen ceiling, and bespoke fixtures over a unique three-piece walnut-and-steel dining table. The palette is equally intentional, introducing unexpected color through a hand-woven living-room rug echoed in sumptuous velvet sofas and an elongated custom banquette.
Feather House was among the first projects to feature our own Finery hardware collection, whose Simple Knob complements a flush-mount fixture in the rich, dramatic powder room.
